Q: Frequently asked questions
Q: How do I use your services?
A: All the services are easy to use. First, you need to contact us by filling out a form on the Contact Page:

- If you want to use the copywriting service, then please click here
We will send you a simple form to complete and, in the case of copywriting, a letter of agreement, too. Just return to us with your document(s) and/or data and we can start work.

Q: Can I use your services if I don’t live in the Netherlands? .
A: Yes, you can. The only exception is the writing course. If you wish to arrange a tailor-made writing course, then you do need to be located in the west of the Netherlands (Randstad area)

Q: Can I send my documents to you by post? .
A: Yes, that’s possible, although e-mail is obviously quicker. Please note that we charge an extra 10% for documents not supplied in a digital format.

Q: Do you design and print copy as well? .
A: No, we don’t. We feel that’s best left to the professional designer and printer. However, we can always give you some tips and ideas for your brochures, leaflets, etc. Back to top

Q: Can you tell me exactly how much it will cost before you start the work?
A: Due to the nature of the work we can only give you an estimate of the cost beforehand.
The level of difficulty and the extent of the work varies with each job and this obviously has a bearing on the cost. However, our rates on the Prices page give a clear indication of the costs.

Q: How do I pay you? .
A: Once I have completed the work, we will send you an invoice.
If you live in the Netherlands, you simply need to make a transfer (overboeking) to our bank account.
If you live outside of the Netherlands, you can send us money using PayPal. PayPal allows you to send money to anyone with an e-mail address. It’s easy to use, and it’s also free.
You will see a PayPal button on the e-mail when we send you my invoice. Just click on this, enter our e-mail address and the amount you need to send. You can choose whether you want to pay with your credit card or from your bank account. Back to top

Q: Which currency can I pay you in? .
A: We will invoice you in Euros.
If you live in Holland, then you need to pay us in Euros.
If you live outside Holland, you can pay us in US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, British Sterling, Euros, or the Yen.
For us to accept these other currencies, however, you need to send me your payment using PayPal. You will see a PayPal button on the e-mail when we send you our invoice. Just click on this, enter our e-mail address and the amount you need to send. Back to top

Q: Will I have to pay tax? .
A: If you are based in the Netherlands, then you will have to pay VAT (BTW) at the standard rate of 19% for all translation, proof-reading and copywriting services. For writing courses the rate is 0%.
If you are based outside the Netherlands, but within the European Union, you will not have to pay tax. However, you must provide us with a valid VAT number. If you do not have a VAT number then we must charge you the standard VAT rate of 19%.
If you are based outside the European Union, then you will not have to pay tax. Back to top
